Operations

The Operations team has a core membership of dedicated leaders and a selection number of additional members working in the background, getting the numerous projects from planning to action.

The operations group has, in total, over 70 individuals who take a part in leading their companies within the CSC membership to make the numerous projects that we have delivered a success. The Operation department has four main objectives.

Objectives for 2024:

Development of the Hi Vis deployments to include the night-time economy and great initiatives covering Safe Havens, Op Reframe, building on security team collaborations
Police partnerships with deployment of corden support for incident management
Introducing the wider Metropolitan Police and British Transport Police partnerships from local relations to senior team leaders and setting the PAS established with the CoLP to the wider Police Services
Safe Havens and Bleed kits, the more resilience that we have in supporting known safe havens and availability of essential first aid in Bleed kits

Training and Exercise, Marketing, Intelligence, EDI, and the executive leads support these objectives to ensure their success.

The operational aspect of the CSC needs support and engagement from the members and teams to strengthen the city and wider engagements with the Metropolitan Police and British Transport Police support this.

The ethos of “Collaboration not Competition” is what makes this a world-first and world-leading initiative in Police and Security partnerships to promote safety and security.
