Graham Bassett
(CSC Current Chair)
Graham Bassett has worked in the security sector for over 25 years. He is the co-founder of AllSecurityEvents.com and MD of GBRUK recruitment and actively involved in variety of volunteer roles within the security community. These include; Committee member of the City of London Crime Prevention Association, Board Member of ASIS UK and Assistant Regional Vice President for UK/Benelux/Ireland/France, Trustee of the City of London Police Children’s Charity, Ambassador for PTSD Resolution, sits on the Executive Board member of the Security Commonwealth and is part of the CSSC London Hub Executive Team.
Graham is also a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals and the previous Chair of the London Project Griffin Board (pre-ACT) combined with CSSC. He is a keen advocate for further developing our private-public partnerships.
Ashley Fernandes
(Former CSC Chair 2022 – 2023)
Ashley has over 24 years of experience in the security industry, working at all levels of Security and Risk Management within the Commercial, Retail, Government, and Aviation Sectors across the EMEA region. A serving Magistrate, he is also a committee member of the ISRM, a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, a Liveryman of the WCoSP Charitable Trust, and a member of both the Security Institute and ASIS UK Chapter.
Neill Catton

Over 30 years’ experience in the security industry from foundation to senior leadership. Operated in most sectors with a focus on delivering quality security solutions to support private and public service customers. Actively involved with industry associations and committed to raising the profile of the Security Industry and its skilled professionals while encouraging talent of the future. Managing Director of CIS Security an Independent London-based Security Services Specialist.
David Ward
(Founding Chair)
David Ward is a senior security consultant who has worked at every level of the security industry and across many security disciplines for over 25 years. In 2000, he founded Ward Security, a company which, under his direction, grew to become one of the leading security companies in the UK with a £45m turnover, employing over 1000 security personnel. He left his Chief Executive position in the business in 2021 to establish DW Associates and specialise in working with businesses at an international level to provide risk management consultancy, security advice and training. David is also the Chair of the Cross-Sector Safety and Security Communications Southern Region, which involves developing strong partnerships between law enforcement agencies, local government and private sector businesses.
Robert Wilson
(CSC Treasurer)
Robert Wilson is the Strategic Security Director at ISS A/S delivering security excellence to global key accounts and all operating countries across EMEA, APAC and the Americas. He joined the security industry in 2001 with Securicor and has since held senior roles with Securitas and MITIE prior to joining ISS in 2008. Based in London, he took on a voluntary role as committee member of the City of London Crime Prevention Association (CoLCPA) Charity in 2004, later becoming a Trustee and Treasurer in 2016. Robert is also a Trustee and Treasurer of the Cross-sector Safety and Security Communications Charity (CSSC). Robert was a founding member of the City Security Council (CSC) Community Interest Company (CIC) and is the Treasurer and a Registered Director. He is passionate about collaboration across the industry to improve security of the UK, whilst building stronger links with UK Govt and UK Policing to make our cities safer.
